16-inch WQXGA replacement panel

This 16-inch panel replaces the MNG007DA2-1 screen with a WQXGA 2560x1600 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. It delivers 500 cd/m² brightness, a 1200:1 contrast ratio and 1.07 billion colours covering 100% sRGB. The matte finish has no touch layer and connects through a 40-pin interface.

Repairers matching the exact part number

The display fits laptops that use the MNG007DA2-1 panel and accept a 40-pin connection without touch. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a different pin count or another resolution should look elsewhere. Wide 89-degree viewing angles suit colour-critical work.

40-pin non-touch connector decides fit

Compatibility hinges on the 40-pin connector and the absence of a touch layer. If the original screen uses a different pin layout or includes touch, this panel will not install. Verify the part number before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the 16 inch panel use a 40 pin connector for the motherboard?

Yes, the screen connects through a 40 pin interface that matches the original MNG007DA2-1 specification.

What is the tricky part when swapping this 240 Hz display?

Align the fragile ribbon cable into the 40 pin socket without bending pins, then secure the bezel clips evenly so the 16 inch panel sits flush.

When will the 500 cd/m² backlight need attention?

The LED backlight is rated for years of typical use; if brightness drops noticeably or colour shifts appear, the whole panel is replaced rather than serviced.
