Aurora Dome Light 101075

The Lumitec Aurora Dome Light model 101075 is a surface-mount LED fixture engineered to replace standard dome lights on boats and RVs. It delivers white and blue colour output with a clean, low-profile design and an integrated push-button switch for direct control. The housing is completely water sealed to IP67 for interior or exterior mounting.

180 lumen output and 10 to 30 volt range

White light produces 180 lumens at a 5000 K colour temperature with a CRI of 70+. The fixture draws 345 mA at 12 V DC and 210 mA at 24 V DC for a rated 4 watts. It operates reliably from -31 °F to 131 °F (-35 °C to 55 °C). The timed toggled protocol and third-party dimmer compatibility are not supported.

Half-inch mounting hole and 0.73 inch depth

Installation requires a single 1/2 inch cut-out; the bezel measures 4.00 inches (10.16 cm) in diameter and the body extends only 0.73 inches (1.84 cm) behind the mounting surface. Buyers needing a smaller cut-out, a different voltage range, or a dimmable fixture should consider other options.

Questions about this item

Will the Aurora Dome Light's 12/24V DC input work with my boat's existing 12V DC system?

Yes, it operates on 10-30V DC, drawing 345mA at 12V and 210mA at 24V, so it connects directly to standard 12V or 24V DC power without a converter.

How can I verify the light is performing correctly once installed?

Confirm it produces 180 lumens of white light at 5000K CCT with a CRI of 70+, and that the built-in switch toggles power and dimming smoothly across its operating range of -31°F to 131°F.

What comes in the box and what extra parts are needed for mounting?

The light includes the sealed IP67-compliant housing with integrated switch; you must supply a 1/2-inch mounting hole and appropriate wiring for the 10-30V DC connection.
