HDMI to Dual SDI Converter

This LUOM converter accepts a single HDMI Type A input and produces two identical SDI outputs. It is built for installers and broadcasters who need to split a 1080P source to two SDI destinations such as cameras, monitors or recorders. A power adapter is included in the box. The unit handles format conversion only and does not pass signals in the reverse direction.

Suited for fixed 1080P workflows

The device auto-detects the incoming HDMI resolution and matches it to either HD-SDI or 3G-SDI on both outputs. It covers the common production frame rates of 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 Hz at 720P and 1080P. Users who require 4K, HDR, bi-directional conversion or audio embedding beyond the basic HDMI 1.3 stream should consider other equipment.

Handles 1080P at 60 Hz over long runs

Both SDI outputs can drive 3G-SDI signals up to 100 metres and HD-SDI signals up to 200 metres without active repeaters. The converter supports the listed HDMI input resolutions from 480P through 1680x1050P at 60 Hz. It stops at 1080P 60 Hz; higher resolutions, higher frame rates or unsupported input timings will not pass through.
