Two-Port HDMI Switch for 4K Displays

This bi-directional HDMI 2.0b switch connects two source devices to one display or one source to two displays. Only one output is active at a time. It supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz and 1080p at 120 Hz. The unit is suited for home theatre setups with consoles, streaming sticks or Blu-ray players.

Sustained 18 Gbps Bandwidth with HDR

The switch maintains the full 18 Gbps bandwidth specified for HDMI 2.0 during extended sessions. It passes HDR metadata and 36-bit colour depth without signal degradation. HDCP 2.2 compliance prevents handshake failures with protected content from cable boxes, Fire TV or PlayStation consoles. Audio formats up to LPCM 7.1 and DTS-HD Master Audio remain intact.

Aluminium Housing with External Power

The solid aluminium alloy enclosure aids passive heat dissipation during continuous operation. A DC 5 V power cable is included and required for stable switching at the maximum data rate. Installation is plug-and-play: connect all HDMI cables, attach power, then use the front button to toggle sources. No drivers or software configuration are needed.

Questions about this item

Does the LUOM 2-Port UHD HDMI Bi-Directional Switch generate any fan noise or heat when powered continuously?

Which cables and power items must I already have to use the 2-Port UHD HDMI Bi-Directional Switch?

Will the 18 Gbps HDMI 2.0b switch pass HDR and 1080p 120 Hz from my older console to a newer display?

Yes, the switch supports 18 Gbps bandwidth, HDCP 2.2, HDR and 1080p@120Hz, so older consoles and newer screens work together without signal loss.
