3G SDI to HDMI Converter

The LUOM converter translates SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals up to 1080p at 60 Hz into an HDMI output for standard displays. A loop-through SDI output keeps the original signal available for a second SDI monitor at the same time.

2.970 Gbps bit-rate support

This unit handles bit rates up to 2.970 Gbps, which determines whether your SDI source is compatible. If the source exceeds that rate the converter will not pass the signal.

Installers needing simultaneous SDI

Suits CCTV, broadcast or production setups that require both an HDMI display and a continuing SDI feed. Not for users who need 4K resolution, higher frame rates or signal formats beyond 3G-SDI.

Questions about this item

What does the 1080p 60Hz rating mean for my CCTV camera feed?

The converter accepts SDI signals up to 1080p at 60 frames per second and reproduces them on an HDMI display at the same resolution and frame rate.

The 2.970 Gbps bit-rate cap — which SDI standards does that cover in practice?

That bandwidth handles SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals, so the unit works with legacy, high-definition and 3G camera links.

How much space does the 90 x 55 x 20 mm aluminium case need on a rack shelf or camera rig?

It occupies a 90 mm by 55 mm footprint and stands 20 mm tall, weighing 165 g, so it fits on a crowded shelf or can be velcroed to a rig.
