5-Port 8K HDMI Switch

The LUOM 5-port HDMI switch connects five source devices to a single display. It supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz over HDMI 2.1 with HDCP 2.3. Switching is handled by the included IR remote or the button on the unit. The metal housing is finished in black.

Build integration and cabling

Five HDMI inputs free up the sole HDMI port on a TV, monitor or projector. The switch passes 48 Gbps bandwidth, HDR10, Dolby Vision and 7.1-channel audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. It is backward compatible with earlier HDMI standards and requires no external power supply.

Ideal users and limits

Suited for owners of multiple consoles, streaming sticks or Blu-ray players who need one-cable switching to a single screen. Not suited for setups that require simultaneous output to two displays. Buyers needing more than five inputs or automatic switching based on signal detection should look at a different class of matrix switcher.

Questions about this item

Does the 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 bandwidth limit 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz performance during long sessions?

The switch is rated for 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, supporting 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz without compression.

Does the unit generate noticeable heat or fan noise when switching 5 sources continuously?

The passive design has no fan and runs silently; the metal enclosure dissipates heat during extended use.

Which HDMI cables and power adapter are required to run the 5-port switch at 8K@60Hz?

Use 48 Gbps certified HDMI 2.1 cables for each source and the display; the included USB power cable powers the switch.
