Connect Seven Sources

The LUOM 7-port HDMI switch connects up to seven UHD sources to a single display, supporting 4K at 60 Hz and backward compatibility with lower resolutions. It handles HDCP 2.2, HDR, Dolby Vision and deep colour up to 36-bit for a full ultra-HD experience. Ideal for setups with consoles, streamers, players and PCs that exceed the TV's built-in inputs.

Passive Operation

The unit draws power from the connected sources and requires no external adapter, so it adds no fan noise or heat to the rack. Bandwidth reaches 18 Gbps over HDMI 2.0, delivering stable 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 signals without compression. Automatic switching detects newly powered devices, while the infrared remote works up to 26 feet for couch-side control.

Seven Input Limit

Only seven HDMI sources can be connected simultaneously; an eighth device would require a different switch or manual cable swapping. The single output feeds one display, so multi-monitor users need a separate splitter or matrix. Buyers who need more than seven inputs or dual independent outputs should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the switch connected and what step is often missed?

Connect up to seven HDMI sources to the numbered inputs and one display to the output; the step often missed is powering the unit via its DC jack before expecting any signal.

What will need replacement over time?

The infrared remote control uses a standard coin-cell battery that will need replacing when the 26-foot range drops.

What limit appears first during long 4K 60 Hz sessions?

The 18 Gbps bandwidth ceiling caps sustained 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 signals; higher refresh rates such as 1080p 240 Hz or 2K 120 Hz stay within the same limit.
