Bi-Directional HDMI Switch for Two Sources
The LUOM switch handles two roles: it routes two HDMI sources to one display, or sends one source to either of two displays. Only one output is active at a time, so it suits setups that need manual switching between a console, a streaming stick or a PC and a single TV or monitor.
Bandwidth and Resolution Limits
The unit passes up to 48 Gbps and supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. It also handles 2K at 144 Hz and lower refresh rates such as 24, 30, 50 and 60 Hz. All listed modes require cables, source devices and displays that are rated for the same specification.
Replaces Separate Switch and Splitter
A single box replaces a dedicated 2×1 switch and a 1×2 splitter, saving a power outlet and a cable run. The jump is worthwhile when you alternate between two sources on one screen or move one source between two screens, but not when you need both displays active simultaneously.

Questions about this item
Should I use this as a 2-in-1-out switch or a 1-in-2-out splitter?
It works both ways. Connect two sources to one display, or one source to two displays — only one display is active at a time.
What does the 48Gbps bandwidth deliver on my screen?
It carries 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 120Hz, or 1080P at 240Hz, provided your cables, source and monitor all support those modes.
The box says HDMI 2.1 — what does that cap in practice?
HDMI 2.1 caps the link at 48Gbps, enabling 8K60, 4K120, 1080P240, Dynamic HDR, VRR and 4:4:4 colour.
