Connects a USB-C source to a DisplayPort 1.4 display at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and triple-shielded copper conductors
This 10 ft LUOM BK-CD2 cable connects a USB-C source with DP Alt Mode to a DisplayPort 1.4 display. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K up to 144 Hz and 2K up to 240 Hz with 10-bit colour HDR. The male-to-male design carries both video and 32-bit audio without extra adapters or drivers.
The cable uses triple shielding and solid copper conductors to maintain 32.4 Gbps bandwidth over the full length. It complies with VESA DSC 1.2 for visually lossless 3:1 compression, FEC, HDCP 2.2 and DisplayHDR. Backward compatibility covers DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1, so older monitors still work.
Under continuous load the link delivers stable 8K 60 Hz, 4K 144 Hz or 2K 240 Hz streams for gaming, creative work or multi-screen setups via MST. MacBook clamshell mode is supported when the host is powered. The cable is not suited for sources that lack USB-C DP Alt Mode or for passive USB-C ports without video capability.

Other versions of this model
Plug the USB-C end into a port that supports DP Alt Mode and the DisplayPort end into the monitor; the step often missed is confirming the source device actually outputs video over USB-C, as not all USB-C ports do.
The cable has solid copper conductors and triple shielding with no moving parts, so no scheduled maintenance is required; replace it only if the connectors become loose or the jacket shows visible damage.
The 32.4 Gbps bandwidth ceiling of the DisplayPort 1.4 link is the first hard limit; sustained 8K 60 Hz 10-bit HDR uses the full pipe, leaving no headroom for higher refresh or colour depth.
