Connects a USB-C source to a DisplayPort 1.4 monitor at 8K 60 Hz, 4K 144 Hz or 2K 240 Hz over 6.6 ft with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth
The LUOM BK-CD2 is a USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable measuring 6.6 ft and rated for 32.4 Gbps bandwidth. It connects a Thunderbolt 4 or 3 host to a DisplayPort monitor at up to 8K 60 Hz, 4K 144 Hz or 2K 240 Hz with HDR and HDCP 2.2 support. The cable suits creators and gamers who need a single high-speed link from a compatible laptop or desktop to a high-refresh display.
Plug the USB-C end into a port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and the DisplayPort end into the monitor; no driver is required. The host must advertise DP Alt Mode over its USB-C port, otherwise no video signal appears. Triple shielding and solid copper conductors reduce interference, but a loose connection or a non-compliant hub in the chain will still cause flicker or a blank screen.
The cable maintains the full 32.4 Gbps HBR3 link during extended sessions, supporting DSC 1.2 compression for visually lossless 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz output. Backward compatibility with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 ensures stable fallback if the display negotiates a lower rate. Heat buildup is minimal, so signal integrity remains consistent over long gaming or rendering workloads.

Other versions of this model
Confirm the display shows 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz in your OS settings and that HDR is active if your monitor supports it.
The box contains the 6.6 ft USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable only; you need a host with USB-C DP Alt Mode and a DisplayPort 1.4 monitor.
Choose 2560 x 1440 at 240 Hz — the cable’s 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and DSC 1.2 support handle that rate without compression artefacts.
