Connects a USB-C source to a DisplayPort 1.4 display at up to 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and triple-shielded copper conductors
This LUOM BK-CD2 cable connects a USB-C source that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode to a DisplayPort 1.4 monitor. It handles 8K at 60 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K up to 144 Hz and 2K up to 240 Hz with 10-bit colour HDR. The 6.6 ft length suits desktop setups where the host and screen are separated by a moderate distance.
The source device must provide DisplayPort Alternate Mode over its USB-C port; a plain USB-C data port will not carry video. The display needs a standard DisplayPort 1.4 input, not Mini DisplayPort or HDMI. Verify that your laptop, tablet or phone explicitly lists DP Alt Mode support in its specifications.
The cable maintains full HBR3 throughput during extended gaming or creative sessions without signal degradation. DSC 1.2 compression delivers visually lossless 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz streams over long periods. Backward compatibility with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 ensures stable operation if the display negotiates a lower link rate.
Measured against everything we stock in DisplayPort Monitor Cables, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
The box contains the 6.6 ft USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable. The source device must support USB-C DP Alt Mode. No extra adapters or drivers are needed.
Choose 8K 7680x4320 at 60 Hz, 5K 5120x2880 at 60 Hz, 4K 3840x2160 at 144 Hz, or 2K 2560x1440 at 240 Hz based on your display's maximum capability.
It means the cable can deliver 32.4 Gbps bandwidth with DSC 1.2 compression for visually lossless 8K 60 Hz 10-bit HDR, provided both the host and monitor support that mode.
