8K DisplayPort to HDMI adapter

This LUOM adapter converts a DisplayPort 1.4 source signal to an HDMI 2.1 display input. It supports 8K resolution at 30 Hz and 4K resolution at 120 Hz. The uni-directional design works from a PC or laptop to a monitor, TV or projector. It does not function with hubs or docking stations.

Passive DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 limits

As a passive coupler, the adapter relies on the source device to output a compatible DisplayPort 1.4 signal. Maximum supported resolution is 7680 by 4320 at 30 Hz, with 4K at 120 Hz and 4K at 60 Hz also available. Audio and video are transmitted together, but the adapter cannot convert signals in the reverse direction from HDMI to DisplayPort.

Uni-directional DP source requirement

The adapter only operates from a DisplayPort-enabled source such as a desktop GPU, laptop or tower to an HDMI-equipped display. It will not work if connected to an HDMI source or through a hub. Buyers needing bidirectional conversion or hub compatibility must choose a different product.
