What this cable does

The LUOM Essager CGA120W cable connects a USB-A charger to a USB-C device. It supports up to 120W power delivery at 11V 5A and carries 480Mbps data. An integrated E-marker chip negotiates the correct voltage and current for phones, tablets or laptops. A built-in LED display shows the live charging status.

Limits of the USB-A interface

The USB-A plug caps the cable at 120W and 480Mbps transfer. You need a charger that can supply 120W over USB-A to reach the maximum rate. The 6.6ft length adds resistance, so peak power may drop slightly under full load. The cable cannot exceed the USB 2.0 data ceiling.

Check your charger and port

Verify that your power adapter delivers 120W from its USB-A port. Confirm the device you are charging accepts 11V 5A via USB-C. Ensure the USB-A port on the charger is not shared with other outputs that reduce available current. The blue nylon braid and aluminium alloy ends are designed for repeated insertion cycles.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1 m or 2 m length for my setup?

The cable is offered in 1 m and 2 m options; choose the shorter one for desk use or the longer one if you need reach across a room.

What does the 120 W rating actually deliver when I plug it in?

With a compatible 120 W charger the cable can push up to 11 V at 5 A, enough to take a MacBook Pro 16 to full in about 2 hours or a Samsung S20 to 80 % in 35 minutes.

How does the USB-A to USB-C interface limit real-world speed?

The connector pair caps data at 480 Mbps while the built-in E-marker chip enables the full 6 A current needed for 120 W power delivery.
