USB-C to Lightning charging pair

This two-pack supplies a 6.6 ft blue cable with a USB-C plug on one end and a Lightning connector on the other. Each cable carries an E-Marker chip that enables USB Power Delivery up to 27 W and 3 A maximum current. The set is aimed at iPhone, iPad and AirPods owners who want a spare or replacement lead for fast charging and data sync.

USB 2.0 data ceiling

The wires support a transmission rate of 480 Mbps, which is the ceiling of the USB 2.0 interface used by the Lightning connector. Faster protocols such as USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 are not available on this link, so large photo libraries or video files will move at this speed regardless of the host port.

27 W power headroom

With a compatible PD charger the cable delivers up to 27 W, enough to take an iPhone 14 Pro Max to roughly 50 % in 29 minutes. It steps down cleanly to 25 W or 20 W profiles when the charger or device negotiates a lower level. Devices that require more than 27 W or need USB 3-class throughput will not reach their potential through this cable.
