LUOM Essager CGI27W 27W cable

This two-pack supplies USB-C to Lightning cables built for iPhone 14, 13, 12, 11, X, XS, XR, 8 series, iPad and AirPods. Each 3.3 ft cord carries a built-in E-Marker chip that negotiates up to 27 W at 3 A while syncing data at 480 Mbps. The blue finish identifies them quickly in a bag or drawer.

Plug-in installation with E-Marker

No driver or setup is required; the cable enumerates automatically when connected to a PD-capable charger. The only common issue is using a power adapter below 27 W, which limits the phone to slower charging speeds. Ensure the charger and cable both support the same PD profile for full-rate negotiation.

27 W headroom for supported iPhones

With a 27 W PD charger the iPhone 14 Pro Max reaches roughly 50 % in 29 minutes, and the cable remains backwards compatible with 25 W and 20 W profiles. It cannot deliver more than 27 W, so devices or chargers rated above that level will throttle to the cable's maximum. Data transfer tops out at 480 Mbps, suitable for backups and media sync.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the cable is delivering the full 27W fast charge to my iPhone 14 Pro Max?

Use a PD 27W or higher power adapter and check that the iPhone reaches roughly 50 percent charge in about 29 minutes; the built-in smart chip negotiates the maximum 3A current automatically.

What comes in the package and what else do I need to start charging?

The box contains two 3.3 ft blue USB-C to Lightning cables; you must supply a USB-C PD charger rated at 27W or above to enable the fastest charging speed.

Should I choose the 27W version or a lower-wattage cable for my iPhone 13 Pro?

The 27W cable is backward compatible with PD 25W and 20W chargers, so it will fast-charge an iPhone 13 Pro at the highest rate that phone supports while also working with future devices.
