Right-angle USB-C cable for gaming and media

This LUOM Essager CGL cable connects USB-C devices with a 90-degree elbow that keeps the plug clear of your hand while you play games or watch video. It supports 100 W power delivery at 5 A and Quick Charge 4.0 for fast charging of phones, tablets and laptops. Data moves at 480 Mbps for file transfers and Android Auto. The 6.6 ft length suits desk, bedside or car use.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The cable carries up to 20 V at 5 A for 100 W charging without active cooling, so it runs silently and adds no fan noise to your setup. Its right-angle strain relief reduces bending stress that can cause heat build-up at the connector over time. Power draw matches the connected charger and device, with no extra circuitry to generate warmth.

What the bundled design changes

The L-shaped plug prevents the cable from blocking your grip or snagging on surfaces during handheld use. A single 6.6 ft blue cable is included in the pack, eliminating the need for separate short and long cords. The 90-degree geometry also protects the port from accidental side loads that can damage straight connectors.

Questions about this item

How do I route the 90° USB-C connector so it does not block my hand while gaming?

Plug the right-angle end into the device with the cable running toward the bottom edge; the L-shape keeps the wire flat against the chassis and out of your grip.

What part of the LUOM Essager CGL cable is most likely to wear out first?

The 5 A rated USB-C connectors and the internal power cores will degrade before the nylon braid, especially after thousands of insertions at full 100 W load.

What throughput limit appears first during a long 100 W charging session?

The 480 Mbps data channel saturates well before the 5 A power path reaches its thermal ceiling.
