LUOM Essager XR 29W cable for Apple devices

This LUOM Essager XR cable connects a USB-C power source to any Lightning-equipped Apple device. It supports Power Delivery up to 29 W and is backwards compatible with 27 W and 20 W profiles. The 3.3 ft length suits desk, bedside or car use. It is built for owners who want a single, durable cable for fast charging and everyday syncing.

29 W PD charging headroom and 480 Mbps data

A 3 A current rating lets the cable deliver 29 W to an iPhone 14 Pro Max, reaching roughly 50 % charge in about 30 minutes when paired with a 29 W or higher PD charger. At lower PD profiles it falls back to 27 W or 20 W without negotiation issues. Data moves at USB 2.0 speeds of 480 Mbps, adequate for backups and file transfers but not for high-bandwidth video workflows.

Aluminium alloy heads and braided fishing-net jacket

The connector housings are machined from aluminium alloy for a rigid, stable fit that resists wobble. A five-strand thickened copper core is wrapped in flame-retardant material, then sheathed in a braided fishing-net fabric that withstands repeated bending. Reinforced, lengthened strain reliefs spread force evenly at both ends, reducing the risk of fracture where cables usually fail.

Questions about this item

Will this 29W cable charge my iPhone 14 Pro Max at full speed if I keep using my older 20W USB-C power adapter?

The cable is backwards compatible with PD27W and PD20W chargers, so it will work with your 20W adapter but charging will be limited to that adapter's maximum output rather than the cable's 29W capability.

How can I verify the cable is delivering the advertised 480Mbps data transfer rate after I plug it in?

Connect the cable between your iPhone and a computer, then transfer a large file or run a USB speed test utility; sustained read/write speeds approaching 480Mbps confirm the link is operating at USB 2.0 High Speed as specified.

Does the 3.3ft braided cable come with a USB-C power adapter in the box, or do I need to buy one separately?

The package contains only the USB-C to Lightning cable itself; a PD29W or higher USB-C power adapter must be purchased separately to achieve the maximum 29W fast charging speed.
