Converts HDMI to DVI video with optical and 3.5mm audio outputs, supports 1080p at 50 and 60 Hz, and includes a 5V power adapter
This LUOM converter translates an HDMI source into a DVI-D video signal while extracting audio to both an optical Toslink port and a 3.5 mm stereo jack. It accepts resolutions up to 1080p at 60 Hz and passes 2.0 CH or 5.1 CH formats such as DTS, AC3 and PCM. A 5 V 1 A power adapter is included for immediate use.
Verify that your source device provides an HDMI output and that your monitor, projector or TV has a DVI-D input. The converter does not support HDCP handshake negotiation beyond HDMI 1.3, so protected content from certain streaming boxes may not display. Ensure you have a free mains socket for the supplied power adapter before ordering.
The unit measures 84 mm wide, 80 mm deep and 28 mm high with a weight of 200 g, making it easy to tuck behind a screen or rack. All three output connectors face the same edge for tidy cable routing. A recessed switch selects between 2.0 CH and 5.1 CH optical output, preventing accidental changes during daily operation.
