HDMI to CVBS Converter with 3.5 mm Audio

The LUOM adapter converts a digital HDMI source into standard-definition composite video at 480i or 576i and provides both stereo RCA and 3.5 mm analogue audio outputs. It supports PAL and NTSC output formats selectable by a switch. The unit is powered from an included USB supply and requires no driver installation. It is a one-way device and cannot convert RCA signals back to HDMI.

Bundled USB Power and Manual

A USB power adapter and cable are included so the converter can draw 5 V from any USB port or mains charger without a separate power brick. The printed manual explains the PAL/NTSC switch and connection order. No software, drivers or additional cables are supplied, so users must provide their own HDMI and RCA leads.

Composite Video Resolution Limit

The converter down-scales any incoming HDMI signal to 480i or 576i composite video, so high-definition detail such as 1080p is lost in the output. The 3.5 mm jack and RCA audio carry the same stereo mix; there is no multi-channel or digital audio pass-through. The HDMI input accepts up to 1080p sources, but the analogue CVBS output remains the bottleneck for picture quality.
