LUOM OZJ6 HDMI Matrix 2x2 4K@60Hz

The LUOM OZJ6 is a 2x2 HDMI matrix switch that routes two 4K HDR sources to two displays independently. It extracts audio from any HDMI input through two optical SPDIF ports and two 3.5mm stereo outputs. An IR remote is included for source selection and switching control. It suits installers who need flexible 4K distribution with separate audio feeds.

HDMI 2.0b bandwidth limits at 18.5Gbps

The switch operates under HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2.2 support and a maximum bandwidth of 18.5Gbps. This caps video at 4K@60Hz with RGB 8:8:8 or deep colour up to 48-bit. HDR10 and 3D formats are supported within this bandwidth. Cable runs should not exceed 10 metres using AWG26 HDMI 2.0b certified cables. Higher resolutions or refresh rates beyond 4K@60Hz cannot be passed.

Check source and display HDMI versions before

Verify that both source devices and both displays have HDMI ports compatible with HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 for protected 4K content. The matrix provides a 4K to 1080P downscaler for mixed-resolution setups. Audio extraction works with LPCM, DTS 5.1 and Dolby AC3 formats. Ensure your audio equipment accepts optical SPDIF or 3.5mm analogue inputs. The unit requires the supplied USB power adapter.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2x2 matrix or a simpler switch for my two sources and two displays?

The 2x2 matrix lets you route either of the two 4K sources to either of the two displays independently, so both screens can show different content at the same time.

What does the 18.5Gbps bandwidth mean when I connect a 4K@60Hz source?

It carries the full 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 signal without compression, so you get 8/10/12-bit colour depth and HDR10 exactly as the source outputs it.

How does the HDMI 2.0b interface limit the audio I can extract through the optical and 3.5mm ports?

HDMI 2.0b caps extracted audio to LPCM stereo or compressed 5.1 formats such as Dolby Digital and DTS; lossless formats like Dolby TrueHD or Atmos cannot pass through these outputs.
