LUOM OZV2E HDMI audio extractor

The LUOM OZV2E is a compact HDMI audio extractor and 2×1 switch that separates audio from a 4K 60 Hz video stream. It accepts two HDMI 2.0b inputs and provides one HDMI output plus optical Toslink, coaxial, 3.5 mm jack and a dedicated HDMI audio port. The unit supports ARC and eARC functions and is powered by an included 5 V 2 A adapter.

Installers needing multi-format audio

Home-theatre owners who want to send Dolby Atmos, DTS:X or 7.1 LPCM to an older AV receiver while passing 4K HDR video to a TV will find the four-position audio-format switch convenient. Users who require more than two HDMI inputs, automatic switching without the IR remote, or audio extraction from sources above 4K 60 Hz should consider a different class of device.

18.5 Gbps bandwidth for 4K 60 Hz HDR

The 18.5 Gbps throughput carries 3840×2160 at 60 Hz with 10-bit HDR and 4:4:4 chroma, ensuring the video quality remains intact while the extractor delivers up to 7.1-channel audio to the connected sound system.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2.0 or 5.1 or 7.1 setting on the four-position toggle?

Choose 2.0 for stereo sources, 5.1 for standard surround, 7.1 for full surround, or TV to let the display decide the format.

What does the 18.5 Gbps bandwidth mean for my 4K 60 Hz signal?

It carries full 4K 60 Hz RGB 4:4:4 or YCbCr 4:2:2 without compression, so HDR and 3D content pass through intact.

How does the ARC and eARC port affect what I can send to my sound system?

The HDMI audio-only output returns TV audio via ARC or eARC and also feeds optical, coaxial and 3.5 mm for older receivers.
