LUOM OZV2E 2x1 HDMI Switch Audio Extractor 4K 60Hz Ultra HD SPDIF 3D 1080P 120Hz ARC

Two-input HDMI 2.0 switch with audio extraction

The LUOM OZV2E accepts two HDMI 2.0b sources and routes the selected signal to a single HDMI 2.0b output while simultaneously extracting audio to optical Toslink, coaxial, 3.5 mm jack and a dedicated HDMI audio port. It supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz, 1080p at 120 Hz, 3D video, HDR and HDCP 2.3, making it suitable for users who need to connect multiple 4K sources to one display and separate the soundtrack for an external sound system.

Replaces a basic HDMI selector that passes audio

This unit adds multi-format audio breakout so an older AV receiver or powered speakers can handle surround formats such as Dolby True HD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X without HDMI inputs. The upgrade is worthwhile when the display has only one HDMI port or when the audio chain lacks HDMI but accepts optical, coaxial or analogue connections. A four-position toggle selects TV stereo, 2.0, 5.1 or 7.1 channel output to match the connected equipment.

Handles 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4

The 18.5 Gbps bandwidth carries full-colour 4K 60 Hz signals and the extractor passes lossless formats including LPCM 7.1, Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio to the optical, coaxial or analogue outputs. ARC and eARC support lets a compatible TV send its internal app audio back through the switch to the same external outputs. It does not serve installations that require more than two sources, HDMI 2.1 features such as 4K 120 Hz or VRR, or automatic switching without the supplied IR remote.
