Right-Angle USB4 Cable

The LUOM PQ005 is a 1.5-foot USB C to USB C cable built to the USB4 Gen 3x2 standard. It delivers up to 40Gbps bi-directional data transfer, carries up to 240W of power under PD 3.1 Extended Power Range, and supports video output up to 8K at 60Hz or dual 4K at 60Hz.

For high-speed docks and 8K displays.

Creators moving large files to NVMe enclosures, professionals driving an 8K monitor or dual 4K screens, and users charging a 140W-class laptop will use every spec. Buyers who only need basic charging or 5Gbps data on older ports will not benefit from the Gen 3x2 bandwidth or 48V/5A power capability.

Fits tight ports and frees desk space

The right-angle connector seats flush against laptop or dock edges, reducing strain on the port and keeping the cable run tidy behind a monitor stand. It replaces separate charge, video and data cables when the host and peripheral both support USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 alternate modes.

Questions about this item

What port must my laptop already have to use this right-angle USB-C male-to-male cable?

Your laptop needs a USB-C port that supports USB4 Gen 3x2, Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 to reach the 40Gbps data rate, 8K@60Hz video and 240W charging.

Will this cable still charge and move data if I plug it into an older USB-C laptop that only does USB 3.2 Gen 2?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible and will deliver up to 100W power and 10Gbps data on USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, though 8K video and 40Gbps speeds require USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4.

How can I verify the link is running at the full 40Gbps after I connect an NVMe enclosure?

Check the OS connection speed readout or run a large sequential transfer; sustained throughput at the device's rated maximum confirms the USB4 Gen 3x2 link is active.
