Product identity

This LUOM USB-A to USB-C cable is built for users who need a single 6.6 ft link between legacy USB-A ports and modern USB-C devices. It serves laptops, tablets, phones, external SSDs and hard drives that rely on USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds and up to 60 W Power Delivery charging.

Interface limits

The connection tops out at 10 Gbps (1250 MB/s) and 3 A current, so it cannot carry video signals or link two host computers. Fast charging only activates when both the charger and the device support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and the cable will not exceed its rated 60 W ceiling.

Capacity and headroom

Everyday file syncs, photo offloads and SSD backups finish quickly within the 10 Gbps bandwidth, while phones and tablets charge at up to 70 % in 30 minutes with a compliant charger. Very large multi-terabyte transfers or 100 W laptop charging will hit the cable’s data and power limits.

Questions about this item

Which LUOM PQ057 cable length should I pick for a desk setup?

The 6.6 ft braided cable gives enough reach for a typical desk without excess slack.

What does the 10Gbps rating mean when I plug an external SSD into my laptop?

You can move large photo or video libraries at up to 1250 MB/s, cutting backup time roughly in half compared with 5 Gbps cables.

Does the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A connector limit charging or data speed in practice?

The cable handles 10 Gbps data and 60 W power delivery simultaneously, so the Type-A end does not throttle either function.
