Converts composite RCA video to HDMI at 1080p 60Hz or 720p 60Hz with PAL and NTSC support and includes a USB power cable
This LUOM adapter converts composite RCA output from devices such as a PS3, VCR, DVD player or older camera into a standard HDMI signal. It accepts PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N input formats and outputs at 1080p 60Hz or 720p 60Hz. It is intended for users who need to connect analogue sources to a modern TV or monitor with an HDMI input.
The converter draws power from the included USB cable connected to a 5V source, enabling continuous analogue-to-digital processing at up to 162 MSPS with 10-bit sampling. On-board processing applies black and white level expansion, colour transition improvement, dynamic range expansion and blue stretch during extended playback sessions. It does not support Super Nintendo or Apple devices due to compatibility limitations.
Installation is driverless: connect the yellow, white and red RCA plugs to the source, plug the HDMI cable into the display, and attach the USB power cable to a 5V port before use. The most frequent issue is forgetting the USB power connection, which prevents the unit from functioning. Another common error is attempting to use the adapter with unsupported consoles such as the Super Nintendo.

The converter is powered by the included USB cable from any 5 V source; it has no fan and no active cooling, so heat output is minimal during all-day use.
Your source needs composite video outputs — yellow for video, white and red for audio — and your display needs a standard HDMI input.
Yes; it accepts PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N composite signals and outputs 1080p at 60 Hz or 720p at 60 Hz.
