Converts composite RCA video to HDMI at 1080p 60Hz with USB power included
This LUOM adapter converts composite RCA video and audio signals into a digital HDMI output. It is designed for users who want to connect older consoles, VCRs, DVD players, or cameras to a modern television or monitor that only accepts HDMI input. The unit requires a 5 V USB power source, with the cable included, to operate correctly. Plug-and-play operation means no driver installation is needed.
The converter accepts composite video in PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N formats. It up-scales the incoming signal to either 1080p at 60 Hz or 720p at 60 Hz via a 10-bit, 162 MSPS sampling process. The adapter cannot accept signals from Super Nintendo consoles or Apple devices due to compatibility limitations. It provides a single HDMI output for the receiving display.
A USB power cable is bundled so the converter can draw 5 V from any standard USB port or wall adapter. This removes the need for a dedicated mains brick and makes the unit easy to move between setups. The cable is the only accessory supplied; no HDMI or RCA cables are included. The compact design allows it to sit discreetly behind a television or on a desk.
