Converts RCA composite to HDMI 1080p 60Hz with USB power, supports PAL/NTSC/SECAM formats
The LUOM RCA to HDMI converter turns analogue composite video and stereo audio from a yellow, white and red RCA source into a digital HDMI signal at 720p or 1080p 60Hz. It is built for owners of legacy consoles, VCRs, DVD players or set-top boxes that only have composite output and need to connect to a modern TV or monitor with an HDMI input.
The unit draws power from the included USB cable, which must be connected to a 5 V source such as a TV USB port or a phone charger; without that supply the converter will not function. It accepts PAL, NTSC3.58, NTSC4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N input standards and continuously outputs a stable 60 Hz HDMI stream without dropping frames during long playback sessions.
Setup is driver‑free: plug the RCA cables into the source, connect the HDMI lead to the display, attach the USB power cable, and the picture appears. The most frequent problem is forgetting the USB power connection, which leaves the device dark; another is feeding a non‑composite signal such as component or S‑Video, which the converter cannot process.

The LUOM unit has no fan and draws power only from the included USB cable, so it runs silently and stays cool during extended use.
You need a source with yellow, white and red composite outputs, an HDMI cable for the TV, and a 5 V USB power source for the converter's power lead.
Yes, the converter accepts NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, PAL, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N signals and scales them to 720p or 1080p at 60 Hz for modern displays.
