It is aimed at anyone who connects a games console, a streaming stick and a set-top box to the same TV or projector and wants to change sources without swapping cables. A supplied infrared remote and a front-panel button both select the active port.

Gold-plated ports and USB power

Each of the three standard HDMI sockets is plated with 24K gold to resist corrosion and reduce tarnish over time. The unit draws power from an included USB cable that plugs into any 5 V port on the display or a nearby charger, so no separate mains adapter is required. The five-inch pigtail keeps the switch close to the screen while leaving room for cable routing.
