Three-port HDMI switch for tight setups

The LUOM SLF-HD112 adds three HDMI inputs to a display that only has one. It accepts signals from consoles, streaming sticks or disc players and routes the chosen source to the screen with a button press or the supplied infrared remote. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and a short five-inch pigtail keeps the unit close to the panel. A USB power cable is included for the 5 V input.

1080p at full bandwidth, 4K limited to 30 Hz

The switch passes 1920 x 1080 at 250 MHz bandwidth with 12-bit deep colour per channel, up to 36 bits total. It also carries 4K resolution at 30 Hz, HDCP 1.4 and 3D formats. Higher 4K refresh rates, HDR metadata or wider colour spaces are not supported, so modern consoles will fall back to 1080p or 30 Hz output when connected through this unit.

HDCP 1.4 is the copy-protection ceiling

Content protected with HDCP 2.2 or later will not display because the switch only implements HDCP 1.4. Buyers who stream 4K premium video from services that require the newer standard will see a blank screen or an error. The device does not upgrade the handshake, so compatibility must be checked before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the SLF-HD112 pass 1080p at 12-bit deep colour from my older Blu-ray player without bandwidth issues?

Yes, the switch handles 250 MHz bandwidth and supports 12-bit deep colour per channel up to 36-bit total, so 1080p sources work at full quality.

How do I confirm the switch is actually passing a 4K 30 Hz signal with HDCP 1.4 to my projector?

Check the projector’s info menu: it should report 1920 x 1080 or 4K at 30 Hz with HDCP 1.4 active, and the switch LED will show the selected input.

Does the box include the 5 V USB power cable and IR remote, or must I buy them separately?

The 5 V USB power cable and infrared remote control are included; no extra purchases are required for basic operation.
