This LUOM SLMU101 adapter adds a wired RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port to a laptop or desktop through a USB 3.0 Type-A connection. It is designed for users replacing a faulty internal network card or needing a second, separately-routable network interface. The compact black dongle measures 5 inches in cable length and requires no external power supply. It serves well for stable file transfers where wireless connectivity is unreliable.

Sustained wired throughput up to 1000 Mbps

The adapter supports IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3ab standards for 10/100/1000 BASE-T operation with Energy Efficient Ethernet (802.3az). USB 3.0 provides up to 5 Gbps bandwidth so the Gigabit link is not bottlenecked by the host bus during long transfers. Full-duplex and half-duplex modes are supported with auto-negotiation and crossover detection. Wake-on-LAN and backpressure flow control remain active under continuous load.
