LUOM DP 1.4 bidirectional video switch

The LUOM TJ-A009 is a manual DisplayPort 1.4 switch that routes signals in either direction. It connects two sources to one display or one source to two displays with a single button press. The unit supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz over 32.4 Gbps bandwidth. External DC 5 V power is required for operation.

Gamers and creators needing flexible DP routing

This switch suits users who alternate between a PC and console on one monitor or who toggle a single workstation between two screens. It does not suit buyers who want simultaneous output to multiple displays because only one path is active at a time. Buyers needing HDMI or USB-C connectivity should look at a different adapter.

Verify cables and power before ordering

Confirm that both source and display devices have native DisplayPort 1.4 ports and that certified DP 1.4 cables are available for the full 32.4 Gbps link. The switch draws power from the included USB cable, so a spare USB port or charger must be reachable. Check that your graphics hardware can drive the desired resolution and refresh rate.

Questions about this item

What DisplayPort cables do I need to get 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz from the TJ-A009?

Use certified DisplayPort 1.4 cables on every connection; the switch passes up to 32.4 Gbps and only DP 1.4 cables guarantee that bandwidth.

Will the switch work with my older 1080p 60 Hz monitor alongside a new 4K 144 Hz display?

Yes, the unit is backward compatible with earlier DP standards, so each port negotiates the highest rate both source and display support.

How do I confirm the active link is running at the expected refresh rate after pressing the select button?

The front LED shows which port is live; then open your OS display settings or monitor OSD to verify the negotiated resolution and refresh rate.
