Two USB-C computers share one DisplayPort 1.4 monitor at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz with three USB 2.0 peripherals and manual switching
The LUOM TJ-A0126 connects two USB-C laptops or desktops to one DisplayPort 1.4 display. Manual switching via the front button moves video and USB peripherals between the two hosts. The unit draws power from an included USB-A to USB-C cable. It is built for users who need to share one 8K-capable monitor, keyboard, mouse and printer between two USB-C systems.
The switch passes 32.4 Gbps DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth continuously, supporting 7680×4320 at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz without compression. USB 2.0 peripheral traffic runs at 480 Mbps alongside the video stream. LED indicators show the active port so users can verify the link during long sessions.
This device removes the need to unplug and replug video and USB cables when moving between two USB-C computers. The upgrade is worthwhile when both hosts have USB-C video outputs and a single DisplayPort monitor is shared. It does not suit buyers who need dual-monitor output, Thunderbolt-speed peripheral bandwidth, or HDMI-only displays.
