The LUOM TJ-A044 is a male-to-male DisplayPort 1.4 cable measuring 16.4 ft. It links a graphics card or laptop to a monitor or TV using the DisplayPort interface. The construction uses 24-30 AWG solid copper conductors, triple-layer shielding, a nylon braid jacket and 24K gold-plated aluminium alloy shells. It is a new component intended for desktop PCs, workstations or gaming setups that need a long, high-bandwidth link.

Capacity and headroom

The cable carries 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and supports 8K at 60 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz, 1440p at 165 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. It also handles HDR10, 32 audio channels, DSC 1.2 compression and forward error correction. Backward compatibility covers DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2, 1.1 and 1.0. The length works well across a room, but runs longer than 16.4 ft would need an active solution not provided here.
