Connects a USB-C or Thunderbolt source to a DisplayPort 1.4 monitor at up to 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz over 10 ft of triple-shielded copper
The LUOM TJ-A055 links a USB-C or Thunderbolt 4/3 source to a DisplayPort 1.4 display. It is built for users who need 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at up to 144 Hz from a laptop, tablet or desktop with DP Alt Mode. The unidirectional design means it only carries video from the USB-C device to the monitor, not the reverse.
Bandwidth reaches 32.4 Gbps, enabling 7680×4320 at 60 Hz, 5120×2880 at 60 Hz, 3840×2160 at 144 Hz and 2560×1440 at 240 Hz. DSC 1.2 compression extends usable headroom for high-refresh scenarios. The cable runs out when the host lacks DP Alt Mode or when either end cannot drive the target resolution and refresh rate.
A CYPD smart chip inside the DisplayPort connector stabilises the link across the 10 ft run. Triple shielding and 28 AWG tinned copper conductors suppress interference. The bundle includes no adapters or software; the cable alone delivers HDR, HDCP 2.3/2.2, VRR, ALLM and MST support when both devices implement those features.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 so it will transmit video to a DisplayPort 1.2 display at the monitor's supported resolution and refresh rate.
Open the display settings on your source device and confirm the output shows 3840x2160 at 144 Hz; the on-screen display of a compatible monitor will also report the active refresh rate.
The box contains only the USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable itself; no adapters are included and no separate power adapter is required for video transmission.
