Three-Pack USB-C Adapter

This three-pack provides USB-C female to USB-C female converters for connecting standard USB peripherals to Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C ports. Each adapter supports USB 3.0 data rates up to 5 Gbps, which is ten times faster than USB 2.0. The compact design suits travel or permanent desk use.

Suits Multi-Port Users

Users with several USB-C devices benefit from having a spare adapter at home, at the office and in a laptop bag. Buyers who need video output, power delivery or legacy USB-A sockets should look at a different product because these converters only pass USB data.

Sustained Transfer Behaviour

The adapter maintains USB 3.0 signalling during extended file copies without active cooling. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation over repeated insertions. No external power is required, so performance stays consistent as long as the host port supplies standard bus power.

Questions about this item

What USB-C host device do I need to use these Thunderbolt 3 to USB 3.0 adapters?

The adapter requires a host with a USB-C port that supports USB On-The-Go, such as a 2015-2018 MacBook Pro, iPad Pro 2018, Dell XPS 13 or 15, or a Google Pixel 3.

Will my existing USB 2.0 flash drives and peripherals work at full speed when plugged into this adapter?

USB 2.0 devices will function but remain at their native USB 2.0 transfer rate; the adapter provides up to 5Gbps for USB 3.0 devices.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering USB 3.0 performance after connecting a drive?

Transfer a large file and verify the speed approaches 5Gbps, or check the operating system's device information to confirm a USB 3.0 connection.
