Converts component YPbPr and stereo audio to HDMI at up to 1080p 60Hz for legacy consoles and players
The LUOM YPbPr 5RCA to HDMI converter changes analog component video and stereo audio into a digital HDMI signal. It lets older DVD players, set-top boxes and game consoles connect to modern televisions, monitors and projectors. The unit is powered by an included 5 V 1 A supply and requires no driver installation.
This adapter suits anyone with a device that outputs YPbPr or RGB over five RCA sockets and needs an HDMI input on the display. It does not work in reverse, so it cannot send an HDMI signal to a component-only screen. Buyers who need to convert HDMI to component should look for a different product.
The converter accepts component resolutions of 480i/p at 60 Hz, 576i/p at 50 Hz, 720p at 50 Hz and 60 Hz, and 1080i/p at 50 Hz and 60 Hz, then outputs up to 1080p at 60 Hz. If the display or source requires a higher resolution or refresh rate, this unit will not meet that need.

Yes, the converter only provides the 5RCA input and HDMI output ports, so you must connect your source with a component cable and your display with an HDMI cable.
The converter accepts 1080i at 50Hz and 60Hz on the component input and outputs 1080P at 60Hz over HDMI, so the refresh rate is converted to 60Hz.
Power the unit with the included 5V/1A adapter, select the HDMI input on your display, and confirm a stable 1080P 60Hz picture with stereo sound from the source.
