Professional Powered Loudspeaker

The Mackie Thump15v4 is a professional portable loudspeaker built for musicians and DJs who need high-output sound reinforcement. It delivers 1400W of Class-D amplification through a 15-inch woofer and a compression driver. SoundCheck DSP provides voicing modes and instant setup tools for live applications.

Suited For Live Performers

This speaker suits solo artists, bands and mobile DJs who require a self-contained PA system with wireless control and linking. The built-in mixer handles two mic or line sources directly. Buyers needing a passive speaker for external amplification or a smaller format for speech-only events should consider other options.

130 dB SPL And 34 Hz Response

The system reaches a maximum SPL of 130 dB and extends low-frequency response down to 34 Hz, giving ample headroom for medium to large venues. The Flat voicing mode provides neutral FRFR reproduction for modelling gear. Outdoor Mode and Feedback Eliminator maintain stability in open-air or high-gain situations.

Questions about this item

What sources can I connect to the Thump15v4's built-in mixer channels?

The built-in mixer accepts two mic/line sources, so you can plug in microphones, DJ controllers, aux playback devices, keyboards or guitar pedalboards directly.

Can I wirelessly link the Thump15v4 with an older Mackie Thump speaker that lacks Bluetooth?

Wireless linking uses Bluetooth, so an older Thump model without Bluetooth cannot be paired; you would need a wired connection between the speakers instead.

How do I verify the Thump15v4 is delivering its rated 130 dB maximum SPL during a show?

Use the Thump Connect 2 app to monitor output levels and engage Outdoor Mode; the app shows real-time metering so you can confirm the speaker is hitting its 130 dB peak capability.
