What this module replaces

The Maestro ADS-MRR interface lets you install a new car stereo in select 2006-up vehicles while keeping the original steering wheel audio controls and factory amplifier. It also preserves convenience features such as OnStar, SYNC and Uconnect on compatible Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer, JVC and Sony touchscreen receivers. Engine performance data can be displayed on supported multimedia units.

Harness and vehicle requirements

A vehicle-specific harness must be purchased separately to complete the wiring between the module and the car. The HRN-RR-FI1 adapter included here is only for select Fiat models and will not work with other makes. Verify that your vehicle and the new receiver are on the supported lists before ordering.

Build and daily use

The compact module measures 4-1/8" wide by 3/4" high by 2-7/8" deep, allowing it to tuck behind the dash in most installations. Once wired, the steering wheel buttons and factory amp function without extra configuration on supported systems. The Fiat adapter adds the necessary connections for those specific vehicles.
