Interface module and wiring adapter that let you install an aftermarket stereo in select 2011+ Ford vehicles while keeping steering wheel controls and the factory amplifier
The Maestro ADS-MRR2 interface module and HRN-RR-FO2 adapter enable a new receiver installation in select 2011 and newer Ford vehicles. This pairing preserves the factory amplifier and steering wheel audio controls while integrating the replacement stereo with the vehicle's existing wiring. The kit supports retention of original convenience features when used with compatible touchscreen receivers.
The ADS-MRR2 module requires the correct vehicle-specific harness for each application, and the HRN-RR-FO2 adapter is built for select 2011+ Ford models. Compatibility extends to select 2006-up vehicles from Chrysler, Fiat, Ford, GM, Honda/Acura, Subaru, Toyota/Scion, and Volkswagen when the matching harness is used. Without the proper harness the module cannot communicate with the vehicle data bus.
Under continuous operation the module maintains steady communication with the vehicle network to keep steering wheel controls and factory amplifier signals active. Engine performance data streams to the touchscreen without interruption during extended drives. The integration remains stable while the ignition is on, preserving OnStar, SYNC, Uconnect and similar conveniences throughout each journey.

The module and adapter work together to let you install an aftermarket receiver in Ford models from 2011 onward while keeping the factory amplifier and steering wheel audio controls.
It plugs into the vehicle’s factory wiring and the Maestro ADS-MRR2 module, providing the correct pin-out for power, speaker, and data lines without cutting the original harness.
The compact module fits in the dash cavity behind the new receiver and connects via the supplied HRN-RR-FO2 harness; no separate bracket or large enclosure is needed.
