Converts NDI streams to HDMI output, decoding up to 4K15fps or 2K60fps and supporting 4K60fps pass-through
The Magewell Pro Convert is a dedicated hardware box that receives a full NDI network stream and outputs it as an HDMI signal. It is built for production teams, AV installers and broadcasters who need to bring IP-based video onto a local display, recorder or switcher without a host computer. The unit ships with a power adapter, a USB Type A to Type B cable and an L bracket for mounting flexibility.
The device can detect incoming NDI streams up to 4K at 60 fps, but the actual decode capability tops out at 4K 15 fps or 2K 60 fps. This means high-frame-rate 4K sources will be downsampled in temporal resolution before they reach the HDMI output. The HDMI port itself can pass a 4K 60 fps signal, so lower-resolution or lower-frame-rate content is delivered at the display's native timing.
The single specification that determines suitability is the maximum decode performance of 4K at 15 fps or 2K at 60 fps. If the workflow demands full 4K 60 fps decode, this unit cannot meet that need. Buyers who require higher decode throughput should look for a model with a higher decode ceiling.

Choose 4K15fps when source resolution matters more than motion smoothness. Choose 2K60fps when fluid motion matters more than pixel count. The box outputs up to 4K60fps HDMI in either case.
The unit can recognise incoming NDI streams up to 4K at 60 frames per second. It then decodes at either 4K15fps or 2K60fps before sending the HDMI signal out at up to 4K60fps.
Video leaves through the HDMI port. The output is capped at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second regardless of which decode mode you selected.
