SKU CH-5NEV-QFBJH MPN MH-C800S

Eight-slot smart charger with 1000 mA charge rate includes eight AA 2600 mAh NiMH batteries

  • Battery typeBatteries & Chargers
  • Eight-slot charger powers up to eight AA cells at once
  • 1000 mA charge rate replenishes 2600 mAh batteries in roughly two and a half hours
  • 100–240 V input works on mains worldwide without a separate adapter
  • Low-self-discharge NiMH cells hold usable charge for months when stored
  • Smart charging circuitry stops automatically when each battery reaches full capacity

Eight-slot smart charger

The Powerex MH-C800S charges up to eight AA or AAA cells simultaneously and ships with eight AccuLoop-X AA batteries rated at 2600 mAh each. It is suited for households, photographers or field technicians who need a ready-to-use pool of rechargeable cells for high-drain devices.

1000 mA charge rate per slot

Each slot delivers a 1000 mAh charge current, so a depleted 2600 mAh cell reaches full capacity in roughly two and a half hours. The charger accepts 100-240 V AC input at 50/60 Hz, making it usable worldwide without a separate voltage converter.

Pre-charged low-self-discharge cells

The bundled AccuLoop-X batteries arrive pre-charged and retain most of their capacity after months of storage. This eliminates the need to charge before first use and reduces waste compared with standard NiMH cells that self-discharge quickly.

Questions about this item

What does the 2600 mAh rating mean for daily use?

Each AA cell stores 2600 mAh at 1.2 Volt, giving roughly 3.1 Wh of energy per battery for high-drain devices.

How does the 1000 mA charge rate affect recharge time?

The charger delivers 1000 mA per slot, so a fully depleted 2600 mAh cell takes about 2.6 hours plus termination overhead.

What clearance is needed for the eight-slot charger on a desk?

The unit accepts eight AA cells in two four-cell cards and runs on 100-240 V input, so only a standard mains socket is required.
