8-Bay LCD Charger with 16 AA NiMH Cells

The Powerex MH-C808M charges one to eight AAA, AA, C or D NiCd and NiMH batteries simultaneously. It ships with sixteen AccuLoop-X AA cells rated at 2600 mAh and 1.2 Volt. The bundle suits households, photographers and field technicians who need many ready-to-use cells and a single charger that handles every common cylindrical size. The worldwide 100–240 VAC input lets the unit operate on any mains supply without a separate travel adapter.

Thermal Behaviour and Power Draw

The charger runs from a 12 V DC 2000 mA external adapter and offers selectable Rapid or Soft charge modes. In Rapid mode AA cells accept 2000 mA while Soft mode halves the current to 1000 mA, reducing heat during overnight charging. A low-temperature algorithm further limits cell warming, and the negative delta V cut-off stops the charge automatically when each cell reaches full capacity. The white-backlit LCD shows individual bay status so you can monitor progress at a glance.

Replaces Disposable Alkalines and Older Chargers

This kit replaces hundreds of single-use alkaline AA batteries and consolidates separate AAA, C and D chargers into one device. The built-in deep conditioning system revives aged NiMH cells and identifies defective ones, extending the useful life of existing packs. The jump is worth it when you regularly drain more than a handful of cells per week and want up to 1000 recharge cycles per battery without memory effect. Users who only need occasional top-ups for one or two devices may find a smaller charger more economical.
