1/18 scale 1979 Ford F-150 Ranger for collectors

This officially licensed Maisto diecast replicates the 1979 Ford F-150 Ranger in brown metallic and cream Special Edition trim. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging. The model is built for adult hobbyists who value authentic detailing in a display piece.

Diecast construction with opening features

The body uses diecast metal with select plastic parts to achieve true-to-scale detail throughout. Functional elements include a steerable front axle, real rubber tires, and opening hood, doors and tailgate that reveal a detailed engine compartment and interior. These moving parts operate smoothly for repeated handling during display arrangement.

Compact footprint suits shelf or cabinet display

At approximately 10.75 inches long, 4.375 inches wide and 3.75 inches high, the model fits standard collector shelves without dominating the space. The sturdy diecast frame resists flex when lifted by the chassis. No assembly or batteries are required, so the truck is ready to position straight from the box.

Questions about this item

Does the 1/18 scale model generate any noise, heat or draw power when displayed all day?

The diecast truck has no motor or electronics, so it runs silently, produces no heat and requires no power.

What extra items are needed to steer the wheels or open the hood, doors and tailgate on this 1979 Ford F-150 Ranger?

Nothing extra is required; the steerable wheels and all opening panels work by hand straight from the box.

Will the 10.75-inch length of this Special Edition fit alongside older 1/18 scale vehicles in the same display case?

Yes, it matches the standard 1/18 footprint, so it lines up with other 1/18 models already in your collection.
