Cuts flexible duct, wire, PVC and metal pipe with a stainless steel blade and compound leverage for easier operation
The Malco FDC1 is a hand tool designed to cut flexible ductwork. It includes an integrated wire cutter for slicing through wire, PVC and metal pipe. HVAC installers and maintenance technicians will find it suited to on-site trimming tasks.
The compound leverage design reduces the hand force required for each cut. The tool handles materials up to its 6 inch cutting length. Thicker or harder sections beyond that capacity will need a different cutting method.
The 6 inch cutting length covers standard flexible duct diameters and common pipe sizes. Larger duct runs or bundled cables exceed the jaw opening. Users needing greater capacity should select a larger shear.

The 11 7/8 in overall length gives a 6 in cutting length with compound leverage for easier operation on flexible duct.
Compound leverage multiplies hand force so the stainless steel blade slices through duct, PVC and metal pipe with less effort.
The integrated wire cutter lets you snip duct support wire without switching tools, keeping the vinyl grip in hand.
