Podcast Mic with Dual XLR USB

The MAONO PD100X is a dynamic microphone built for podcasting, gaming and streaming. It captures audio at 24-bit/48kHz with a 40Hz-16KHz frequency response and a 99 decibel signal-to-noise ratio. A cardioid capsule rejects off-axis sound so the voice stays clear in noisy rooms.

Upgrade from Basic USB Mics

Compared with similar 16-bit/48kHz dynamic microphones the PD100X improves sound detail by 50 percent through its higher 24-bit sampling rate. The jump is worth it when you need both USB convenience and XLR flexibility for an audio interface or mixer. RGB lighting and the smart knob function only over USB.

Plug-and-Play with MaonoLink Control

USB connection works immediately without driver setup, while XLR requires a separate cable and an interface or mixer. Noise-cancellation level and RGB are adjusted in MaonoLink software, which is USB-only. The microphone is not compatible with Xbox consoles.

Questions about this item

Does the PD100X need a boom arm or shock mount to sit on a desk?

The box includes a desktop stand so you can place it directly on a flat surface without extra hardware.

What is the one step people miss when switching from USB to XLR on the PD100X?

Remember that RGB lighting, the mute button, the smart knob and MaonoLink noise cancellation only work over USB; they are disabled on XLR.

Which parts of the PD100X will need replacing after heavy daily use?

The foam pop filter and the USB cable are the only consumables; the dynamic capsule itself has no battery or wear-out mechanism.
