Five-key capacity

The Master Lock 5400D holds up to five standard house keys or access cards inside a metal body with a vinyl-coated shackle. A four-digit combination set by the user replaces physical keys, and the combination can be reset for thousands of code options. The lock box is designed for indoor or outdoor use. A shutter door covers the dials to protect them from weather, dirt and freezing.

Sustained outdoor exposure

The metal body and coated shackle resist scratching and corrosion during long-term mounting on a door knob. The shutter door prevents the combination dials from jamming due to rain, snow or debris accumulation over weeks or months. The preset combination opens on 0-0-0-0 until the user sets a personal code. Reset instructions are included for future changes.

Door-knob compatibility check

Verify that the shackle dimensions of 13/32 inch diameter with 1-13/32 inch length and 1-7/8 inch width fit the specific ball, biscuit or tulip knob on the intended door. Confirm the internal cavity of 3-1/2 by 2-3/4 by 1 inch accommodates the keys or cards to be stored. Ensure the mounting location allows the removable shackle to be installed and removed as needed.
