Who should use this and who should not

Home users and small offices that need a small batch of inexpensive write-once discs for occasional archiving will find this pack convenient. Buyers who require rewritable media, higher capacity formats or bulk spindle packaging should look elsewhere.

The specification that decides fit

The 40x maximum write speed determines whether your burner can take full advantage of these discs; older drives limited to lower speeds will still work but will write more slowly.

Questions about this item

Will the 648220 CD-R discs record properly in an older drive limited to lower write speeds?

The media supports a maximum write speed of 40x; compatible drives will automatically select the highest speed both the drive and disc can handle.

How can I verify a disc has been written correctly at 40x?

After burning, compare the written file sizes to the originals and run a verify pass in your burning software to confirm data integrity.

Does the 5-pack include jewel cases or must they be purchased separately?

The five 120mm CD-R discs are supplied in individual jewel cases, so no extra cases are needed.
