Double-layer DVD media for archiving

Verbatim 96542 discs provide 8.5 GB of write-once storage on a single-sided DVD+R DL disc. The AZO recording layer gives resistance to UV light damage. Each spindle contains 30 discs rated for burning at up to 8X speed.

Suits single-disc backups, not multi-terabyte sets

These discs work for users who need to store up to 8.5 GB per disc without flipping media, such as video recordings or data archives. They do not suit buyers who need higher capacities per disc or rewritable media for repeated edits.

8.5 GB capacity per disc

The double-layer structure stores 8.5 GB on one side, removing the need to flip the disc during recording or playback. This capacity decides whether the media fits the intended archive size.
