Product identity and target user

This spindle contains one hundred Maxell CD-R discs, each offering 700MB capacity and a maximum write speed of 48X. The white inkjet-printable surface lets users add custom labels directly on the disc. It is suited for anyone who archives data, creates audio CDs or distributes content on write-once optical media.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Home users, small offices and content creators who need a large batch of affordable, printable blanks for backups or music mixes will find this pack practical. Buyers who require rewritable discs, higher storage per disc or media compatible with DVD and Blu-ray writers should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification

The 48X maximum write speed determines whether your recorder can use these discs at full rated performance. If your drive tops out at a lower speed the media will still work, but you will not reach the stated 48X rate.

Questions about this item

Will the 48X write speed work reliably with an older CD burner that only supports lower speeds?

Yes, the 48X rating is the maximum supported speed; the discs will write at whatever lower speed your drive selects automatically.

How can I verify the 700MB capacity and 80 minute recording time are recognised correctly after burning?

Check the disc properties in your operating system or burning software; it should report 700MB capacity and 80 minutes of audio time.

Does the 100 pack spindle include inkjet-printable white surfaces on every disc, and do I need a special printer?

All 100 discs in the spindle have a white matte inkjet-printable surface; you need an inkjet printer with a CD/DVD tray or adapter to print on them.
