700 MB 48× Write-Once Discs

These Maxell CD-R blanks store 700 MB or 80 minutes of audio and support recording speeds up to 48×. The spindle holds 50 discs, making the pack suitable for archiving projects, music mixes or small data backups. Each disc uses a polycarbonate substrate in the standard 120 mm form factor.

48× Maximum Write Speed

The 48× rating is the single spec that determines whether your burner can use these discs at full pace; drives limited to lower speeds will still write but at their own ceiling. Matching the media speed to the drive avoids buffer underruns and delivers the shortest possible session time. No other speed grade is included in this pack.

50-Disc Spindle Packaging

The spindle keeps all 50 discs stacked and protected from dust and scratches until they are needed. It also allows quick visual inventory of remaining media without opening individual sleeves. No software, jewel cases or label sheets are bundled with this product.

Questions about this item

How much music or data does a 700 MB disc actually hold once burned?

Each disc stores up to 700 MB of data or 80 minutes of audio in a single write‑once session.

What does the 48X speed rating mean when I put a disc in my drive?

The 48X figure is the maximum write speed the media supports; your drive will cap the burn rate at its own highest compatible speed.

Will these 120 mm discs fit in a standard internal or external CD writer?

Yes, the 120 mm diameter matches the standard CD form factor used by virtually all tray‑load and slot‑load drives.
